A moment of horror

OMG , I have never thought I would experience such thing. I just woke up from this OBE.
I went out and my thought was “ I want to go where I am needed” WARNING! If you guys ever give this command, be prepared starling things to happen. Well, may be not every time and with everyone, but here is what occurred after I did it. Instantly I was sucked by a vacuum going down (I was up in the air). It was like whoosh and I past really fast through few layers of the ground and ended up in a coffin with a skeleton next to me . I was horrified for those two second I spent there. I thought “ Hello, Halloween is over, not a fun joke”. Then I mentally pulled myself out, but while I was flying back I felt something or someone was attached to my back. When I got above the ground in the light, I felt release of the pressure from this “ attachment” on me. I turned and I saw unclear, blurry figure disappearing. I mentally said, “ Wait, who are you?” Then in my mind appeared episodes of an old lady` s final days in the physical world. She was ill for a long time and she knew her end is near. Well, her belief was that after someone dies, he/she will reside in their grave. She though we are no more than a  physical body and when we die it is the end.  Somehow after she died and saw her funeral and her body laying in the coffin, her thoughts and beliefs attached her to it and she went straight down where she thought she belonged. Then I mentally wondered” How come you stayed down there since you were aware that you can still think and exist?”. She responded that she did not realize, all she knew was that her body was dead and buried. Of course the belief of her being her body was keeping her in her coffin. I have no idea how long in earthy time she spent there. Maybe not so long, I don`t know, but I am glad she is out finding her true self. Spooky huh? Well, that was a true story, not a Halloween one, hehehehe….

Horrors, Angle. Your graphic experience with how our beliefs bind us has me thinking of ALL the Jehovah Witness people who believe they have no soul and will just lie in the ground until Christ comes again in the Ressurection. Some of them came to my door once to argue that point with me. A man told me his mother had recently died. Then he pointed out toward our pasture and said, "My mother was no more than that old cow out there. When she died she died. And she'll stay dead till the Lord comes back." I refrained from telling him that cow had a soul and would never die, even if his mother did. hehehehe  I wonder how many of them are lying in their graves? And how long they'll lie there? I wonder why you were drawn to that particular one? What an experience for you! But fascinating if you don't mind my saying so, now that it's over.  We really do create our afterlife experience, don't we?

I agree, although I was horrified for a moment, I think this experience was fascinating. Now I feel good this lady is out of there. But yeah, when you think how many lay in there because of false beliefs. And as much as I would like to help I don`t wish to go on a tour around the cemeteries, checking the graves to transport the souls out  hehehe… Actually I am laughing, but it`s not so funny.
And yes, we do create our immediate surroundings after death, at least for a while until we make a certain realization and allow guides to come to our aid and from there to connect with our higher self and start planning our next journey.
I had no idea Jehovah`s witnesses don`t believe we have souls, hmmm interesting. Your story reminded me of something I saw on a TV once at my friend`s house. She likes to watch the Christian programs on Sunday morning. I was picking her up that day from her house and while she was getting ready I caught few minutes from this program. It was a Christian one , the preacher was a bald guy who according to my friend sticks closely to the bible using exact verses to explain different subjects. So, that day he was talking about the second coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead. He said the same thing. When we die, we lay in our graves and are in sleep until Christ comes and take those who were his followers. He would not take those who were against his teaching and lived unholy life. I thought ” My God, how cruel. He has no idea what he is talking about”. But everything he said he read from the bible. And I saw all these people in the audience shaking their heads with a sign of agreement. I talked to my friend about how she felt about it and she said she absolutely agreed with him. Well, my friend has no idea what are my deep beliefs. She knows I disagree with many things in the bible, but she does not know my “secret”. I have tried to point out some things to her and shake her mind a little, but she is a strong believer and I realized that there is nothing I can do at this moment for her. After the program, when we talked, I said "“Kim, when that moment comes for you ( to die), please remember me and hold it in your mind”. She did not understand why, but she promised to do so although she thought she would be asleep. My point is(which I could not explain to her), was when she holds the thought of me in her mind she will automatically be sending energy signals to me, so I can come and help her. Maybe this old lady was ready to leave and she was already calling out for help. And when I made myself available I was drawn to the strongest signal nearby. I don`t have memories of knowing her before. But there are many possibilities.

I didn't think you'd want to make a tour of cemetaries, Angel. hehe Nor would I. But yes, there are many possibilities, one of them being that some part of you was aware of the woman's pleas for help, and maybe that's why you made that request. It could be a soul you have a deep connection with, even though you didn't recognize it. Anyway, it was an excellent thing you did, and I'm sure you feel very good about it. If your friend passes before you do, I hope she remembers her promise.

Hey Nasim, hehe, this made me for some odd reason think of this:

Mrs. Gloop - "He can't swim!"
Willy Wonka - "There's no better time to learn..."

Hehe well anyways, I guess my thought was that if you really want to experience the astral, then you *should* at least consider taking such wild steps. Just trust in the fact that you cannot be harmed, and go for it! Think of how much faster your development the crazier the command you try out. Smiley

Anyways... Yeah, I remember having a good many arguments with my ex-gf about this very concept, that when we die we go to "sleep" to await the return of Christ. This is actually a common belief amongst the various Christian ummm sects or whatever you call them. My ex is a Church of Christ girl at any rate, and she believed this completely. The funny part was, I wasn't taking exception to her statement that we sleep after death... my exception to it was in the idea that we experience NOTHING until Christ's return. Where the arguments would begin, is when I would then ask of her "Well, when we sleep, we dream... so what is our deathly sleep like? Do we dream then too?" This would inevitably lead to first a debate over whether we dream or not after death, then ultimately to the little jabs about my beliefs and activites concerning sleep-time. Nine times out of ten we'd then have an all out over whether or not I needed to do any of it, and then spend hours not speaking to each other.

What I'd really be interested in knowing is where this notion comes from, and what was really meant. My thinking is that they couldn't just say "when we die, we cruise around the astral till Christ's return", because readers would be like "huh? what astral? is that heaven? if it isn't heaven, then are there multiple heavens? I don't understand!" "Sleep" is just easier to grasp. Most people think of sleep, whether they openly say it or not, as a kind of half-death. So mayyyybe... the truth of the state of being in death is that it really is like sleep... at least in the sense that we take it as, where you leave your body and experience dream worlds or various astral realms. Physical sleep for humans is a highly active time, so perhaps that's really not a bad term at all. Smiley

"I had always heard your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the second before you die. First of all, that one second isn't a second at all, it stretches on forever, like an ocean of time. For me, it was lying on my back at Boy Scout Camp, watching falling stars. And yellow leaves, from the maple trees that lined our street. Or my grandmother's hands, and the way her skin seemed like paper. And the first time I saw my cousin Tony's brand new Firebird. And Janie... and Janie. And... Carolyn. I guess I could be really pissed off about what happened to me, but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain. And I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life. You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

Amazing experience, Angel! I'm sure on some level it was very enlightening experience for you and the ground lady. Smiley

I can't wait to try that command out! I've been looking for something new to jar me into the astral. I'm pretty sure I've been asking questions that my HS doesn't want me to know the answers to yet so I haven't been able to get out at all lately so this could be a very interesting experiment!!

How interesting Angel... quite the experience!  I'm so glad the lady has finally found peace, thanks to you.  I guess our requests are taken so literally, that we have to be very specific in the asking or who knows where we'll end up?!  Thanks for sharing this!

Strange.  I am in strong need right now, and I've had the 'beacon' on I think, sending out signals and such, and the other night something happened, of which I can't really remember.  Happened like maybe 3 or 4 nights ago.  I know I was visited, I know it was meaningful and something happened, but I cannot remember.  I just know that I was aware and that it was not a random dream, nor did it originate from within me.

OH well.

Rob, I am glad at least you remember that this experience have occurred and it was significant for you. Although you don` t remember the details, you have the inner feeling of being visited and helped. Keep repeating before bed, that you will remember your dreams and astral experiences and you will be surprised how much this simple command can do.
I will be thinking of you and if I detect your signals, you will surely have a visitor…hehehe....

Angel, spooky alright - but lucky for that lady you were out there to take that call. You were very brave and you have helped her more than you give yourself credit for. I admire your will to be where people need you Smiley
I´m happy for that lady! Imagine, lying there for eons without a clue...you know it is scary sometimes to help others, and it does take some courage.
Our beliefs really do shape everything don´t they? I just remebered that some months ago an old lady passed away here at work, and I know plenty of her family members, and none of them had a similar story when she passed... Incredibly enough, the night she died, (and I only found out the next day at work of course) I had an obe of being with her, we were hand in  hand as if playing ring around the rosie, and we spun upwards like a rocket, and she had this great smile on her face! Needless to say, next day at work when they told me she had passed on I was floored. I kept wondering, but why me?? Why did she pick me to have someone tag along as she went "up"? And the only reason I can come up with is I was the only one she knew that believed we could meet in the astral! I felt really good after that, flabbergasrted, but good Smiley

I just read something interesting in Monroe's Ultimate Journey that I think will fit here, since we were discussing how this woman's beliefs kept her lying in that coffin for God knows how long. And how our beliefs initially determine where we go. When Bob first started retrieving souls (he didn't plan it either, he just started feeling a pull when he was out, followed it and found a soul in trouble), he didn't know what to do with the soul, so he just started rising upward, holding his rescuee's hand, but before he could ever reach a place where he thought he could drop this person off, the person would suddenly disappear. It happened many times and he never could figure why. He thought he must be doing something wrong to lose all those he rescued. Then finally a new guide explained it to him. Each soul had vanished as he reached the area that corresponded with its own particular belief system. He never saw where any of them went, so he never knew what their beliefs drew them to.

Paula, thanks for the reminder of your beautiful experience. That was a great one!
